No matter what the occasion, whether it is family reunion,  anniversary, or holiday get together in beautiful Northern Michigan, a portrait of the occasion is a special keepsake. Getting the best portrait takes being comfortable in your surrounding and knowing you can trust someone to bring out the best of the moment.
Family get-togethers are an excellent time to take photographs, however snapshots rarely catch people looking their best and groups are difficult to organize since everyone wants a shot with their camera! A professional photographer provides structure and frees everyone to relax and look good.

During your family portrait session you are not limited to a few poses, but instead will have a number of different poses.  Families can be big or small or comprised of many family units. We also can do singles, pairs or mom/dad and the little ones separately.

We specialize in outdoor portraits at the beach, house or park that will express who you are and what makes you a family. We are experts taking family portraits on the beach...no shadows or squinting....and we have several great locations that we use.  All of our packages include photographing multiple family groupings - different shots at one location. This may include large or small family groups, couples, or individuals, indoors or outdoors.  We will travel in a 20 mile radius from our studio and stay on-location for up to two hours. Travel beyond 20 miles is available and will incur reasonable travel fees.

Our internet proofing is great because everyone will be able to view the proofs within a couple of days...this is great if you have family members who live across the country. Professional retouching is also available.

Your photographs will be well light and sharp as we are experts in lighting outdoor portraits.  In addition, we are well known for our professionalism and reliability.
